Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I convert between min/km and min/mile?
- Multiply min/km by 1.60934 to get min/mile, or divide min/mile by 1.60934 to get min/km. The unit toggle does this automatically.
- What counts as a good pace?
- It depends on your fitness level and distance. A beginner 5K runner might target 7–8 minutes per km; an elite marathon runner might average under 3 minutes per km. Use the pace as a reference for your training plan rather than comparing to others.
- Can I enter split times?
- This calculator takes total time for the full distance. For per-kilometre or per-mile splits, divide your total time by the distance to find the average, or run the calculation for each split separately.
