Our Consent Manager
We use cookyay (an open-source, zero-dependency consent manager, Apache-2.0) with Google Consent Mode v2. All consent is default-denied — no analytics or marketing cookies are set until you explicitly accept them. cookyay also honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website.
Cookie Categories We Declare
Necessary
Essential for the Site to function. These cookies store your cookie consent preference so we do not re-ask on every visit. They cannot be disabled.
cookyay_consent— Stores your consent choice (365-day expiry)
Functional
Enhance the Site's functionality (e.g. remembering display preferences). No functional cookies are currently active.
Analytics (requires consent)
When you consent, we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our calculators (page views only). GA4 uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. Data is transmitted to Google's servers in the United States.
_ga— Distinguishes users (2-year expiry)_ga_XXXXXXXX— Maintains session state (2-year expiry)
If you decline analytics cookies, GA4 does not set any cookies and no usage data is sent.
Marketing (requires consent — not active)
Marketing cookies support display advertising and cross-site behavioral targeting. No marketing cookies are currently active. We will update this policy before enabling advertising or affiliate tracking.
Managing Cookies
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the Cookie settings button (auto-injected by cookyay at the bottom of every page). You can also control cookies through your browser settings — note that disabling all cookies may affect Site functionality.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when new cookie types are introduced (e.g., when advertising goes live). The "Last updated" date will reflect the latest revision.
